In this Issue: New Executive Membership New Commissions New Ratios New Standards Effective Timeframe New - "My Directory" Your Account Info New Executive Membership StartXchange will soon be rolling out with a new membership level. This level will have the biggest benefits and will be part of the "Inner Ring" of StartXchange. Besides the usual upgrades and features, these Executive Members will be given exclusive access to Executive features. From time to time I will be giving Executive members access to upcoming features before they are released. New Commissions StartXchange is proud to announce it will be giving out commissions to all upgraded members! Pro members will receive 10% commission on all upgrades and purchases in their downline. Executive members will receive 20% commission on all upgrades and purchases in their downline. New Ratios After much thought and research, I have decided to change the ratios for StartXchange. Currently for free members, 90% of the traffic is re-used and pro members 140% is re-used. By "re-used" I mean that every view 90% of a credit is re-assigned to other members. This is leaving me with very little room to give out prizes, and makes traffic delivery slower. So the ratio will be soon changing to 3:1 for free members, 2:1 for Professional members, and 1:1 for Executive members. Free members will receive 5% of their down-lines views (not 5% of the 3:1 ratio, but 5% of the number of pages they view), 10% for Professional members, and 20% for Executive members. I have talked to other exchange owners, looked at other exchange ratios, and have determined these ratios would be the best for StartXchange. Current Professional members will be upgraded to Executive membership until their current time expires (or they renew their Professional membership). New Standards I will soon be rigurously reviewing websites in order to keep the StartXchange rotation clean. While bad sites can still come in no matter how often you check for them, I will still none the less try to stop them before their first hit is delivered. I will also be closely watching Paid to Promote (PTP) websites as they have come under fire in many traffic exchanges. I personally do not have a problem with a member getting paid to promote a website, however these websites are becoming increasingly unattractive and surfer unfriendly. Effective Timeframe The timeframe for all these new updates and features will be October 3rd [Monday] - October 7th [Friday]. I am announcing these changes now to make everyone aware of the them in advance. I am not sure exactly when they will all be in effect. It could all be done today, or it could take up till friday. It all depends on how many speed bumps I run into along the way. Simply click on the "My Directory" link while logged in. Every StartXchange member can add a photo and their name, along with custom text. The rich html editor allows you to change fonts and colors without knowing any code.
