Good Morning
I am going to
try to get into the weekly mailing routine again. I got out of it for
a little while. What I would like to do is each week have a review of
what went on the week before, special things happening now, and
things coming in the future. Past, Present, Future StartXchange ;-)

members who voted in the forum. Out of 7,221 accounts - 21
clicked the forum link - 0 voted. I'm sorry guys but this is
very disappointing for me. Maybe I'll have to start advertising it on
the exchange, and create a "20 second post" page. Well
since there was no opposition, the marathon prevails!

Sale
Nobody liked
the special sale I guess. I found it fascinating that there were
still many purchases on the regular packages, but no special purchases.
Maybe its because banner impressions are easy to get with the convert tool?
Sponsor Positions
StartXchange
celebrates ONE YEAR of selling Sponsor Positions! Yes that's right,
March will mark our first full year of selling positions. Want some
numbers? Well the first time sponsors received 17,968 hits for $20!
There were only 4 sponsors that month however, because the idea
didn't catch on. September as a whole received the most hits - 96,884!
July however received the least - 38,712.
There are some
quick stats of our Sponsor Positions. As you can see, the lowest
month had 38,712 hits to all sponsors. That time there were 5
Sponsors, but even if there were 10, that would be 3,812 hits. That
is still more hits than our normal packages!
To be honest..
I'm surprised these don't sell out the day they are available!
Anyways, there are 4 spots left for March.

Marathon is ready to go!
With the
internet being a world-wide thing, and StartXchange members around
the globe, the Marathon will be different than normal marathons. To
play, first wait until it is Friday, EST. Then surf over to the
Marathon page, and reset your timer. Maybe I'll put a countdown there
so if you are unsure when you can start, you can check the countdown.
Once it hits Friday you can begin anytime.
The goal is to
surf as long - not as quickly. You have 5 minutes between clicks to
remain active. I repeat, the amount of sites you visit will not determine
if you win!
You can reset
your counter as many times as you want.. on Friday only! After Friday
the reset function will not work until the Marathon is over. Your Marathon
time starts when you start, not at midnight, so you can start
surfing when you normally wake up, or after work.
