Good Morning

Its been a while since I've sent out a newsletter. I've been busy with various things, including watching the Olympics ;-)

If you haven't surfed recently, start surfing now. The more surfing you do, the more credits you'll get from your downline!

Sponsors

Sponsor sales have been down recently. I'm not sure if its because of summer, or members don't know the benefits, so I'm going to do a quick review.

The first page shown when a surfer starts surfing is a Sponsor page. Sponsor pages are also thrown into rotation if they are low on credits delivered.

Each month there are up to 10 sponsors. These sponsors are put into a rotator, and when its their turn one of their URLs is shown.

This month Sponsors have received 2161 hits during the past 18.4 days. Thats about 117 hits per day, for a whole month, for only $20. There are 3 positions left for August, so if you were to buy now you'd most likely get more than 1474 hits.

September Sponsor positions are now on sale, and so are the last 3 August positions. For a steady flow of traffic througout the month, purchase a position!

Approximate Views To Next

While surfing you may notice that there is an "Approximate Views To Next" (active level). There has been much confusion lately about this feature, and why it keeps going up.

Active levels are in order of the top active surfers. So while you may have 100 pages to go, to get into the next level. If the people in the level above you all surf 100 pages, then they'll be 100 pages ahead of you again.

The views to next count is actually a little higher than needed, because its an average of the level above you. So its possible to move up a level without surfing all that it says you need, as some members will have surfed less than the average. However, it will give you some room if you stop surfing, and they surf more. If you surfed more than the average, and the bottom of the level above you surfed a few more sites, you should still be above them.

To get the most out of it, just surf however much you feel comfortable each day. If you feel you can, try surfing a few more minutes each day and build it up. Otherwise you may end up surfing like crazy, and burning out quickly.

Want to know what level you are on? How many to go to the next level? Start Surfing!

Pro Members Get Help

Pro members no longer receive a 5th downline, but they will now receive some help in the active downline. They will still need to surf to get to the top, they just won't have to surf as much.

If you'd like to move up with less clicking, upgrade today!

Thanks Again

I just wanted to say thanks again for supporting StartXchange. Even if you surf as a free member, and don't buy anything, you've helped StartXchange become what it is today!
