OK,

the first over-riding thing I see is dark text on a black background - makes it hard to read :(

Also, most people are visually cued - so add some graphics to grab the eye and pull the visitor into reading what you have to say :)

Finally I am not sure if it is intended as a 'splash' page to get their attention or a interim sales page or a final sales page - it lacks the detail for the closing sales page, and is too verbose for a splash page.

Sorry i all I have done is criticise.

For a first attempt it is better than many I have seen!

I completely agree with Richard (dehawkins) on this one the dark background with dark letters is hard to see. Especially for us older surfers :) Better page than my first one and I had help :) Keep it up and always smile. Kim

Hi Munkee,

Black backgrounds can work

However, the part you need to stand out the most is your "Links"

You can change the background of the links so that they stand out (high light) the background of the links

Also, make a portion of the wording a link instead of the entire message. And, swap the links around so that the first is where you want people to signup and the second is for additional information.

Place the active link at the end of each message so that thevisitor will have to read the entire message before clicking on it. This will cut down on confussion of the message.

It is human tendency to act before completely reading a message.

Hi Munkee,

I see that Tim and a lot of others are using the same setup (black background and red and white letters with a blue link against the black background.

Maybe it's something that will catch on !!!!

Hello

It is an attractive page however the red letters are all running together for me (I can't focus on them).

Red is really difficult for most people to read especially on a dark background...

If you insist on keeping it dark, then use light neutral colors for your text...

Also, use bullets to make points about how your offer will benefit the viewer...

Don't know what your graphic image is, but you should reduce the size and let the text wrap around it for better flow...

Just my 25 cents worth?
