When advertising a traffic exchange remember not to put the ad in rotation on the same exchange. For instance, if you are advertising StartXchange, don't put the splash page in StartXchange! The members have already joined, so it's a wasted view.

This can be problematic if you are using a rotator. If that's the case, check that you are using a rotator that is smart and won't show the same exchange on itself. One such rotator is TEtoolbox. Not all rotators have this feature, in fact TEtoolbox is the only one I know of that does!
