Team Competition Change - Jan 1st
Starting in January the total surfing contest will be replaced by a loyalty contest. It works like this, every time a member of a team surfs 20 pages in a day, that team gets a point! So even those who can’t surf all day long can help their team win!

Terms Of Service Change - Jan 1st
Starting in January you will no longer be allowed to sell traffic earned for free (surfing, referring, prizes, etc). If you are running a coop or similar service, it’s gotta be run off purchased traffic. You can include free traffic as long as the majority is purchased. You cannot advertise packages of hits from StartXchange, or mention StartXchange unless it’s in a list of exchanges (ie: No “100 hits from StartXchange” kind of thing).

Referral Splash Credits
Right now you can earn free traffic by advertising StartXchange on other exchanges. In January this will be changing, the exact way is unknown at the time. You’ll still get rewarded for it, but not with as many credits as of now.

Surfing Marathon Update
I’ve decided to change the marathon details a bit. You’ll be able to start surfing anytime it’s January 1st anywhere in the world. The key is surfing the longest so the time will track when you start and when you stop, but you have to start. This means if it’s New Year’s Day in New York, but you live in California and it’s not yet New Year’s, you can still start surfing as it is the 1st somewhere in the world.
