Each week teams compete to win their share of the jackpot. Teams must have 10 members in their team to compete. Teams are ranked by the average Activity Level of the Top 25 Members in their team. Should a tie arise the total number of Activity Points Earned during the week will be used to break the tie.
At the end of each week the jackpot is divided between the top 10 teams, the higher the team ranks the bigger the share of the jackpot they'll receive. The team winnings are then divided amongs the teamates who surf more than the teams Qualifying requirement.
As a bonus team leaders get a 1% credit share of ALL the members on their team. The leaders can use this to reward teammates who are active, or can keep it for themselves as a reward for leading their team.
To become a team leader you must be an upgraded member in good standing, and have good activity both surfing and in the forum. Teams will have a private forum and chat so it is important for the leader to be around for the team to succeed.
